Max Raabe

We went to see Max Raabe yesterday at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland. It was a super great concert! If you are not familiar with him, he is a German singer and band leader of the Palast Orchester. He and his orchestra specialize in recreating the sound of German dance and film music of the 1920s and 1930. We had a great night and if you have a chance to see/hear him, it is a treat!

Back from Tucson!

Hello,
I am back from Tucson (actually I am back for a couple of days) but I was too exhausted to write something in my blog. The Tucson Bead Show was not really good for me. I had one big sale from a gallery in Taos, NM which was great. But the rest of the show was poorly, mostly people browsing... and I have to say there weren't a lot of people at all. This is always a big disappointment (since the cost of traveling and staying in a hotel is pretty high). I now know that I will stick to shows which are close to my home and I don't have to pay for hotels etc...

I wish you all a very nice weekend. Sabine

I will keep you posted! Sabine
