I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sabine Brunner and I am a ceramic artist. I was born in Aachen/ Germany and came to the United States in 1996. This is the time where I discovered clay. After taking a ceramics class a a local Potters Studio (in Berkeley, CA) I got hooked.
My work evolved over the years and these days I am doing bowls, cheeseboards, jars and salt and pepper shaker and most of my functional work is animal related.
Recently I ventured into making ceramic jewelry, which has become a new obsession for me.
You will see lots more of my jewelry design in the next weeks and month to follow.
Now a little about me: I am married and have 3 pets.
Our cat KEVIN is 15 years old and he is also from Germany.
Then we have a German Hunting Dog (Small Muensterlaender Pointer) and his name is AIKO, he is 7 years old.
And then we have our smallest and youngest member of our family and her name is NIKI. She is a tiny 3 pound Chihuahua. Niki is now 1 1/2 years old.
