New Gallery in San Francisco

I got accepted into a gallery in San Francisco yesterday. I am very happy about this. It is a really nice, modern, and beautiful gallery and I am proud being a part of this.

Candy!

I feel like a child in a candy store! I opened my kiln today and got all my beads out and this is always such an exciting time. When I put them all on a tray to carry them upstairs I felt like a candy maker and it feels great to look at all of them.

I will now photograph them all individually and put them on the web or make new jewelry pieces out of them.

Painting and Glazing

I am painting a lot of new pieces right now. I try to get ready for my show at the Berkeley Potters Guild and I am in the middle of posting all my beads for sale on my website.
The kiln is firing right now and I will show you what came out of it tomorrow.

Back from Oregon!

I was gone to visit a good friend of mine over the weekend. She lives in Corvallis, Oregon.
I have to say that the people in Oregon are very nice and super friendly. The only thing which I didn't like is the weather. It reminds me too much of living in Germany. The sky was grey and you hardly saw the sun... Here are some images I took.


Now I am happy to be back in California and I am looking forward working on some new ceramic beads...

Beads and Pendants

I am in the process of setting up my website to sell my handmade beads and pendants.

Children's Artwork!

I unloaded my kiln today from another class of teaching Kid's Ceramics and Sculpture. This time I had to take a picture and show you some of the pieces.

Every time I see some art work which really inspires me and is absolutely fabulous. I have to say that all the pieces are special but some simply stick out!
I hope you also enjoy what you see...
